May 23rd, 2023 - Veri Once, a leading provider of credential management solutions, has announced a pioneering agreement with the Commissioner of Collegiate Education (CCE), Telangana, India. Veri Once will provide credential management services for the state’s colleges, enabling the CCE Telangana State to digitize and streamline the issuing and verification of credentials.&nbsp; 
 
With the Veri Once platform, Telangana State degree college students will have access to secure, verifiable credentials, and will be able to share them with universities, licensing bodies, and future employers. This marks an innovative first for State governments in India and is a significant step towards injecting trust and authenticity into credentials for Telangana State college students.

In the first year, the Veri Once platform will issue 45,000 digital credentials to Telangana students. Each student will receive a Veri Once digital wallet that houses their verified digital credential. This credential can then be shared with anyone for a lifetime. With this account, students can upload all credentials and work experience earned and have these verified from the source and securely stored using Blockchain. Essentially, students will be able to create a verified digital version of their resume.&nbsp; 
This initiative benefits not only the students but also the colleges themselves. By leveraging the platform, colleges can significantly improve the efficiency, authenticity, and accuracy of their inbound verification requests.
